Brookfield Annuity’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Brookfield Annuity continues to monitor developments with COVID-19 and to comply with health authorities’ recommendations and guidance.

In March 2020, to help ensure our staff’s safety and well-being while maintaining uninterrupted service to our policy and certificate holders, we supported employees’ transition to working from home. We also worked closely with key third-party suppliers, and continue to do so, in order to deliver our annuity promise without disruption.

Clearly, the approval and distribution of successful vaccines will dramatically impact how COVID-19 is managed across Canada. We will watch developments closely, align our action plan with the best scientific advice and look forward to eventually returning to a post-pandemic work environment.

In the meantime, we continue to extend our best wishes to our customers, colleagues and annuity members and hope that you remain safe and healthy.
